What AYPO ensembles have you played in and for how long?

AYSO-1 year AYPO-1 year

A funny, favorite, or memorable AYPO experience?

All of the low brass pre concert shenanigans!

What musician inspires you and why?

Constance (Connie) Weldon. As another female tuba player she reminds me that it is possible to succeed in such a male dominated profession.

Your advice for young musicians?

Develop your network and become a well-rounded, well-educated person. A successful career in music these days is dependent on more than just being good at your instrument. Make lots of friends with other young musicians. Develop relationships with professional musicians, other teachers, and composers. You need to be able to create and maintain your own support network.

What do you hope to do after graduation?

I’m looking forward to continuing my studies is college and getting a degree in Tuba performance.
