The Ensemble da Camera of Washington (Claire Eichhorn, clarinet; Ricardo Cyncynates, violin; Anna Balakerskaia, piano) will perform with guest artist Abigail Kreuzer, Assistant Principal Viola of the National Symphony Orchestra and AYPO Chamber Artist students Juliana Layendecker, violin and Allison Park, cello. The students will perform in the Brahms, Clarinet Quintet alongside the EDCWashington. Cyncynates will play the Brahms, Violin Sonata No. 1 and the trio will play the charming Dubois, Trio for cl, vl and piano.

AYCO, under the direction of Maestro Glenn Quader, will perform a number of chamber and full orchestra works. The Double Concerto will feature two AYCO violinists, Kelsey Payne and Kelly Zhou.

The American Youth Philharmonic opens the season with an all-Sibelius concert celebrating 150 years of the Finnish composer.
AYP will be joined by solo virtuoso Janet Sung on Sibelius' Violin Concerto in D Minor. Finlandia and Symphony No. 1 complete the program.
