Under the direction of Laura Kaufman, AYPO's newest ensemble performs its first concert of the year.

The April concert will take two looks at the Romeo and Juliet story, with Tchaikovsky's "Romeo and Juliet" and selections from Prokofiev's Romeo and Juliet. Musicians will also perform Rimsky-Korsakov’s dazzling symphonic suite Scheherazade.

In lieu of an admission fee, we ask attendees to bring a box of nonperishable food to donate to Assistance League of Northern Virginia’s Weekend Food for Kids program. The nonprofit would gratefully accept the following food items:
