Butler School of Music at the University of Texas to double major in Oboe Performance and English
What do you hope to do after graduation or your more long-term goals?
“I hope to spend this summer with my friends and family before locking in at UT.”
A favorite, or memorable AYPO experience?
“My favorite AYPO experiences are chatting with friends during breaks, making silly mistakes in rehearsal to laugh about later, and finally presenting the result of our hard work in concert.”
What musician, conductor, or orchestra inspires you and why?
“My peers inspire me most, because we learn from each other. The musicians I know through AYPO, summer festivals, and other events have never failed to be dedicated and supportive.”
Your advice for young musicians?
“Keep practicing - it's worth it!”

“My time in AYPO has been a blast. Thank you to all the staff for making it happen!”
