AYSO
What AYPO ensembles have you played in and for how long?
AYCO, 2020-2021
AYSO, 2021-2022 & 2022-2023
Your advice for young musicians?
Be bold while playing, and don't be afraid to make mistakes, because they are what make you improve!
What college/university do you plan on attending this fall?
George Mason University, Mechanical Engineering.
A favorite, or memorable AYPO experience?
A funny experience I had was when all the woodwinds played a game of UNO during the break time of a woodwind sectional. It felt so random for all the woodwinds have this moment together, and it makes the environment in AYPO feel more lively and colorful.
What do you hope to do after graduation or your more long-term goals?
I hope to attend an exchange program in France this summer, pursue a Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering, and continue playing music in college!
What musician, conductor, or orchestra inspires you and why?
A musician who inspires me is my private instructor, Sarah Beatty, because she is always willing to give me ways to expand in my clarinet-playing skills, and she sets an example for me on how to become a better musician.
