What is your current AYPO orchestra and ensemble?

AYSO

What AYPO ensembles have you played in and for how long?

I have played in AYPO ensembles for three years, including the AYCO and now AYSO.

Your advice for young musicians?

It’s important to do everything in music with a purpose. Practice for a purpose and play with purpose and it will translate to the audience.

What college/university do you plan on attending this fall?

I will be attending the University of Mary Washington in the Honors College. I will be a double major of Psychology and Music!

A favorite, or memorable AYPO experience?

It was funny when we played baby shark in AYCO when the Nats were in the world series.

What do you hope to do after graduation or your more long-term goals?

I am not sure what career I want to go in to, but I know I will keep music and violin in my life for as long as I can.

What musician, conductor, or orchestra inspires you and why?

Ray Chen is an inspiration. He plays with such passion, precision and personality.
