Your advice for young musicians?

I think it is important for young musicians to play music that keeps them engaged with their instrument. They should definitely learn the standards of their instrument, but they should also choose pieces that inspire them to continue with their musical studies.

What college/university do you plan on attending this fall?

College of William and Mary; Economics

A favorite, or memorable AYPO experience?

My favorite experience was playing the winter concerts with AYSE. Ms. Cahn always made them fun concerts that were the highlight of the season.

What do you hope to do after graduation?

After completing my schooling, I hope to work as an economic analyst. When not working, I hope to continue playing double bass and growing musically.

What musician, conductor, or orchestra inspires you and why?

Božo Paradžik is one of my favorite double bass soloists. He uses his stellar technique and understanding of the bass to create amazing performances. He as inspired me to push boundaries in whatever field that I go into.
