AYPO is proud to present the Spring Showcase video of our young Music Buddies mentees. Our mentees have worked diligently with their mentors since October to be able to provide a final virtual performance this season. You can watch the Spring Showcase video here.
The Music Buddies Mentorship Program, headed by Veronica Jackson and Stephanie Lewis, provides free lessons to young musicians in Alexandria City Public Schools. Musicians from AYP and AYSO meet with ACPS students every Friday (this year via Zoom), where musicians work in on-on-one lessons and an ensemble.
