COVID Health and Safety
AYPO covid Health and safety
At AYPO, we believe the health and safety of our musicians and staff is of utmost importance. Therefore, AYPO will require all musicians to be fully vaccinated against SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19).
Musicians must provide proof of vaccination prior to the first rehearsal by submitting a valid digital copy, photocopy or scan of the musician's COVID-19 Vaccination Record Card issued by the United States Department of Health & Human Services and the Center for Disease Control. Musicians in need of an exemption from this policy due to a medical reason must submit a completed Request for Vaccine Exemption form to the AYPO administrative office. Accommodations will be granted where they do not cause AYPO or its musicians and staff undue hardship or pose a direct threat to the health and safety of others.
MAsk Policy
Masks are optional for all AYPO rehearsals, according to current CDC guidelines. In the event that a concert venue requires all patrons to wear masks, masks will be required. AYPO mask policy is subject to change following Virginia state and CDC guidelines. If you have any questions, please reach out to info@aypo.org.
